Suzanne Turner

Suzanne Turner is an entrepreneur and strategic advisor with more than three decades of experience building organizations and leading complex initiatives at the intersection of media, public affairs, science, law, and advocacy.

Previously, Suzanne founded Turner Strategies, a Washington, D.C.–based public affairs firm with staff across multiple cities, sold in 2022. She also built a national creator and community-management network that scaled across 17 states.

Earlier in her career, Suzanne was part of the team that helped build the Washington office of Fenton Communications into a major national operation. She later launched the DC office of high-tech PR firm The Launch Company prior to its acquisition by another company.

Suzanne is known for helping organizations navigate growth, public scrutiny, coalition complexity, and institutional change with strategic clarity, disciplined execution, and calm leadership.

Global Climate Action Summit (GCAS)

Goal: Make forests central to the climate narrative at the 2018 Global Climate Action Summit in San Francisco.

Strategy: Highly visible, coordinated visual and media and social campaign integrated with coalition partners and international agencies.

Execution: Coalition coordination across multiple organizations – High-visibility public installations – Integrated earned and paid media – Alignment with scientific and celebrity messaging.

Outcome: Forests became a visible and recurring theme across summit coverage, digital feeds, and on-site experience.

Christopher & Dana Reeve Foundation

Context: Release of first-ever comprehensive estimate of Americans living with spinal cord injury.

Challenge: Complex data. Sensitive issue. Risk of stakeholder conflict. No peer-reviewed publication backing.
